Why do we use cookies?

What cookies do we use?
- Essential. Set by app.careerzoom.net to keep you signed in and remember your session. You cannot switch these off through our website. They last until you sign out or the session ends.
- Campaign attribution. When you arrive from an ad or a link with tracking parameters, we store those parameters (for example utm_source, utm_campaign, gclid or msclkid) in first-party cookies on careerzoom.net and share them with our app, so we can tell which campaign brought you to us. They last until you close your browser.
- Analytics. Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) shows us which pages are visited and for how long. These cookies last up to 2 years.
- Product analytics. PostHog (ph_ cookies, with a copy in local storage) helps us understand how our pages are used, including clicks, page performance and answers to optional surveys, so we can improve them. These last up to 1 year.
- Advertising. Google Ads (_gcl_au) measures whether our ads lead people to use our Services and lets us show our ads to past visitors. These cookies last up to 90 days.
- Microsoft Advertising. _uetsid, _uetvid and MUID measure the results of our Bing ads and let us show our ads to past visitors. They last from 1 day to 13 months.
- Trust verification. TrustedSite sets its own cookies to display our trust badge and verify our website.

- You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies does not stop our website from working, but blocking essential cookies may stop you from signing in to our app.
